Evergreens Social ClubEVERGREENS SOCIAL CLUB

A warm welcome for all Over-Fifties

WHO ARE WE?

Evergreens Social Club is a member of the New Dawn Community Association.

Evergreens Social Club is open to anyone beyond the age of fifty. The group began in January 2000, and is now well established.

We meet in a comfortable lounge at the New Dawn Community Centre on Button Lane, Northern Moor. We begin each session with an informal cup of tea or coffee and biscuits or cake.

The New Dawn Community Association serves the community of Northern Moor, Sale Moor and Northenden by offering counselling, family support, youth activities, child-minding, etc.

DO I HAVE TO PAY?

There is no charge for membership. We have a donations box for an orphaned street child in Brazil, but there is no obligation at all to contribute.

Since we are an informal group we do not keep a record of attendance or anything like that. However, we do take your birth-date and address so that we can send you a card on your birthday.

If you cannot attend for any reason, you can let one of the leaders know by 'phone. We can arrange to visit you and offer practical help if you are ill.

We meet every Wednesday (except Christmas, New Year, Easter Week and throughout August) 1.30pm - 3.00pm, in the lounge at the New Dawn Community Centre,
Button Lane, Northern Moor, M23 0ND.

You can be assured of a warm welcome.
